Sanwar Harshwal, CPA

Managing Partner

Sanwar Harshwal leads our auditing and accounting practice and serves as Managing Partner. He is a globetrotter and a trained professional speaker on auditing, global accounting standards, IT and internal controls, fraud prevention, and internal audits.

With over 37 years of experience with governmental audits, Sanwar is also a leading expert on emerging accounting challenges for state and local governments, educational boards, higher educational entities, housing authorities, and tribal governments.

In the last five years, Sanwar has provided over 400 hours of training to professionals worldwide on GASB, GAS, OMB Uniform Guidance, FASB, SAAS, COSO, COBIT, internal audits, fraud prevention and examination, and Tribal governance issues. In addition to having significant experience in audits, strategic assessments of the accounting function, and internal control structures, Sanwar also has extensive experience in evaluating complex accounting and finance issues.

In his spare time, Sanwar is deeply committed to personal development and practices yoga, pranayama, and meditation.
