Minimum Education LevelB.S. Degree in Accounting
Required/Supplemental CertificationsCertified Public Accountant or Certified Public Accountant Candidate
Continuing Professional EducationContinuing Professional Education (CPE) in accordance with Government Auditing Standards, as applicable.
Minimum Experience RequirementsOver four years of Auditing experience supporting Federal, State and Local government and commercial clients – Good working knowledge of Government Auditing Standards (GAS) as outlined in the GAO Yellow Book, Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS), Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA), Federal Acquisition Regulations ( FAR), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), OMB Circular (Uniform Guidance), Audits of States, Local Governments, and Non-Profit Organizations and Non-Profit Organizations, Circular A-11 Preparation, Submission and Execution of the Budget and OMB Bulletin 15-02 (or latest release), Audit Requirements of Federal Financial Statements or subsequently issued guidance.
Relevant experience with major facets of Federal government accounting from financial analysis to performing financial statement audits in accordance with all applicable OMB, GAO and AICPA standards.
