Minimum Education Level

Required/Supplemental Certifications

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)

Continuing Professional Education

Continuing Professional Education (CPE) in accordance with Government Auditing Standards, as applicable.

Minimum Experience Requirements

Minimum 05 years of work experience in auditing, accounting, or financial and management advisory services. Proficient knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP); Government Auditing Standards (GAS); federal regulations, including guidelines, standards, and concepts; or other relevant industry practices pertaining to the engagement. Strong oral and written communication skills.

Senior Manager

Functional Duties/Responsibilities

Manage and supervise project teams, provide on-site quality control, monitor engagement budget, plan and assign tasks to project team, act as a liaison between project senior and project partner/principal, review work papers, provide technical assistance to federal agencies and project staff.

Minimum Education Level

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. Major in accounting or other technical field preferred.

Minimum Experience Requirements

Over four years of Auditing experience supporting Federal, State and Local government and commercial clients – Good working knowledge of Government Auditing Standards (GAS) as outlined in the GAO Yellow Book, Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS), Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA), Federal Acquisition Regulations ( FAR), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), OMB Circular (Uniform Guidance), Audits of States, Local Governments, and Non-Profit Organizations and Non-Profit Organizations, Circular A-11 Preparation, Submission and Execution of the Budget and OMB Bulletin 15-02 (or latest release), Audit Requirements of Federal Financial Statements or subsequently issued guidance.

Relevant experience with major facets of Federal government accounting from financial analysis to performing financial statement audits in accordance with all applicable OMB, GAO and AICPA standards.

Staff Auditor

Functional Duties/Responsibilities

Serve on project team; perform tasks as assigned under the supervision of a Supervisory Auditor or Audit Senior.

Minimum Education Level

B.S. Degree from an Accredited College or University

Required/Supplemental Certifications

Minimum Experience Requirements

Para-Professional

Functional Duties/Responsibilities

Responsible for performing para-professional duties on tasks. Assist the engagement team by performing administrative functions such as report production; correspondence; expense reports; and billing functions.

Perform specifically delegated work for which a manager or senior will review and approve.

Minimum Education Level

Associate’s degree or formal training in business administration or other appropriate disciplines or equivalent experience.
